Hi Tock. If you had Sarah previously, then your new broker will no doubt be in touch shortly. He's going through his new list as I write this, and is a very nice guy. I spoke to him this morning. If you want his details now, then PM me as I am sure he would like to hear from you, especially if you have your credit card primed!

I got handed to a new broker (though not from Sarah), had a call or two, then nada. When I left a message I got a call from a different person.

Very funny!! They were all tasting the St Peter's this morning (as you do)! Alas, I didn't buy there and then, but if it's still there when the pay check hits in the morning - that's what I will be buying!! I have had this sitting in my wish list on my Vivino app for a while, even before the deal came on.

However, looking at the website through the - 80 deals free shipping promo page - there are some good deals on at the moment. Nothing new. But if you were coming to the Fo as a new consumer, then there are some great tempters to get your wine obsession going.

I'm not a Merlot fan but my girlfriend thinks she is. Thought I'd pick up a case if we can confirm what it is.

EDIT: Wow. My bad. No idea where I got Barossa from and was a mistype on the dollar value (never post from iPhone). It must be the Irvine then. Any reviews on this?

Hmm - interesting - let me look further when I get back to my computer. It's the only 92pt 2012 merlot from Eden Valley I can find in Wine Companion. Must be another one that's hiding somewhere :)

Edit: See post #5852 by The Director. Seems to be Irvine - maybe The Director can confirm if this is the same? I'm guessing the Estate Merlot

Edit2: Halliday's Wine Companion lists it as $30/bottle, so maybe their website has changed recently.
