Would OOL be the worst of domestic lounges in the QF stable?

Spent 10 minutes there today then decided to go out.

What was the issue, Foreigner? I've spent a bit of time in OOL, and while not the best, it's certainly not the worst (a title held by SYD on any given Friday afternoon!).

Lounge itself is ok, although it can get packed at times.

The lack of any windows is the main downside.

Dingy as few others spotted. Front desk was unattended.

PHE.
However, I would assume that the worst lounge is still better than no lounge at all.
Not sure about that. MEL QPub was horrible last Monday. Packed with people, dirty dishes left on many of the tables, clearly not enough staff to clean up.

OOL is pretty inept (they didn't bother calling my JQi flight last week after calling all the others). MEL and SYD QPs at the peak pretty dire also, see little point using them for F&B these days given the standards and the scrums.

Perhaps QF should get someone outside of the organisation to do an independent audit and then act on the recommendations.

I reckon ASP is ok. I would still give the prize to KTA. (Yet to get to BME or ROK.)

Agreed I quite like ASP nice and bright with lots of natural light.

Personally I'm a fan of less crowded lounges so CFS for me is right up there with the best, purely because I've been the only one in there on a few occasions.

Not been to KTA I presume then.

True, not my fav. My friend asked me if we could leave because she felt like she was in a box. We had to divert from Exmouth, otherwise I would never have had the pleasure.

........ or to Broome ......... or Rockhampton ....... or...........

Broome is nice! Tarmac view. Snacks, I don't expect meals at these places. KTA is worse than ROK but I don't mind ROK.

I don't really know much about QF on the international front but I'm putting votes in for PER and AKL (F lounge). Although the +1 actually liked AKL. I'm putting that down to him just being a bit retro.

ROK and KTA both neck and neck can go either way ..... find KTA always be over full so wins the prize.

When one visits the dire European lounges(not just for Qantas, but overall), you'll appreciate even the saddest Qantas lounge in the network. Rome has particularly bad ones, but many other lounges compete!
