Worse than feet on bulkheads

That is gross.

I was on a flight once when a kid sitting next to me spilled yoghurt all over himself. I buzzed the FAs and was handed paper towels to clean him up. When I made it clear that I wasn't going to do it, the FA got all snippy. Not my kid, lady, I'm not touching it - his parent was sitting in the row behind. She must have checked the manifest and actually apologised to me later. Didn't stop the kid falling asleep all over me. :( But the yoghurt STANK.

I feel sick just thinking about it.

Same here, at first I really thought it was a wind up.
In all my flights (a lot) over a long time I've never experienced anything that might want to make me feel extremely unwell, a clean seat is something that should be taken for granted. I can't believe that the crew would have thought that any passenger would have found this acceptable.

You know, it’s almost too bad to think that this could be a true story. It’s unthinkable really.

Coffs Harbour lounge. Was having a good time until DYKWIA pulled an extra armchair across, took off his shoes and then put his bare feet on the chair. I gave him a look of disgust and went back to my emails. Was surprised to see him put his feet down.

My smug self-congratulations were short-lived. He had just decided to swap sides. I wonder where else he will choose to park his stinking feet ....

Can I ask if you were there for the rally? Last year I flew in and out of Coffs, but it was cheaper for me to fly in and out of Coolangatta and drive down, including car rental.

Yeah - but I had booked well in advance for under $400 and even had Qantas offer me $50 to change the return flight to Tuesday. How they think that would entice anyone is beyond me.

It was her stinking feet in OOL. I wish peeps would realise that while its a lounge, its not their lounge-room.

That's an easy drive on a motorway.

There is still a lot of road works happening, it's only motorway from the border to just past the Ballina turnoff, then from north of Woolgoolga south to Macksville.

It is getting better and will be a breeze in a couple of years, I hate to be a driver of a truck or bus and have to do this trip often.

A lot of variable speed limits, but that new bridge over the Clarence River is a beauty and it's nearly complete. I left it far to late to get a good priced ticket, plus rental cars in Coffs have only a free 200km per day limit, I probably wouldn't have exceeded that.

Sorry off topic!

On JL97 this morning. Person next to me was using his feet to control the IFE touch screen.

Hardly funny, unless you were the clown doing so... More like disgustng.

It would be interesting to see the data but I wouldn't be surprised if using your feet was actually more hygenic than your hands. People pick their noses and ears, go to the WC without washing their hands, sneeze into their hands and handle snotty tissues, scratch their psoriasis, pick at their underwear, run their hands through their greasy and dandruffed hair... and then touch the screen. I know which one I'd prefer!

Your'e probably right, but presumably go to the WC without putting the shoes and socks back on...

This is why I carry anti-bac wipes and use them when I fly!
