"open to only individuals legally residing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who are AAdvantage members."

Probably doesn't matter if you're a points winner as they'll be automatically applied, but other prizes may run into issues.

Only a small chance of winning a prize though.

    "3. PRIZE DETAILS.
One (1) First Prize, consisting of a $500 Circuit City Gift Certificate (approximate retail value (“ARV”): $500).
One (1) Second Prize, consisting of a $500 Lands End Gift Certificate (ARV: $500).
One (1) Third Prize, consisting of a $500 Overstock.com Gift Card (ARV: $500).
One (1) Fourth Prize, consisting of a $500 Sephora Gift Card (ARV: $500).
One (1) Fifth Prize, consisting of a $500 Target.com Gift Certificate (ARV: $500).
Forty (40) Sixth Prizes, each consisting of a $50 Home Depot Gift Card (ARV: $50).
Twenty (20) Seventh Prizes, each consisting of a $50 iTunes Gift Card (ARV: $50).
Ten (10) Eighth Prizes, each consisting of a $25 Sephora Gift Card (ARV: $25).
Fifty (50) Ninth Prizes, each consisting of a $10 Sephora Gift Card (ARV: $10).
Five-thousand (5,000) Tenth Prizes, each consisting of 500 AAdvantage miles (ARV: $12.50).
One-thousand (1,000) Eleventh Prizes, each consisting of 1,000 AAdvantage miles (ARV $25).
Total ARV of all prizes: $93,750"

But like everything, gotta be in it to win it!

Hmm - looks like an easy waste of a few mins a day :) Only need to remember to do it each day. The chances of winning are pretty small though - only 6125 winners in total (yes I did read the rules - I am that sad)

Edit - OK Mal is sadder than me :p

Tempted if I do win a prize - or even to use one of the special vouchers that you get linked to - i.e. Staples noise cancelling head phones. If I do go to the US soon I gues I can get things delivered to the office there ;)

Has anyone won the miles yet? I've been trying all day (you can play multiple times if you use different email addresses). I'm concerned that maybe they're all gone.

Given that its not yet 1am in Ft Worth (AA head office) and you can enter once per day, I suspect the chance of them all going in the last 55 mins is pretty slim.

Why would they all run out in the first day? Given that its a random chance of winning - I expect that they forecast the daily number of players and biased the random chance for an relatively even split of winners - pretty easy to do really.

I was commenting on the fact that each person can enter once per day. So the current "day" had only been going for less than an hour at that time.

Not sure if the prizes are distributed evenly between the days or just random over the whole competition period.

According to my Sunclock (v5) it is currently approx 2:16am in DFW.

By the time K/F posted it was already after Midnight in Dallas. :(

Sorry, I misunderstood. My concern is because lots of the initial FT posts were winners, and then later there seem to have been far more losers.

and according to the IP phone here on my desk (that has a USA 817-xxx-xxxx in-dial number from a Ft Worth located IP-PBX), its currently 3:35am over there :D .

That phone comes in very handy for calling AA :D (just a "local" call).

May not be that good an idea, although I have tried it (and it certainly didn't help me to win!)

"Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of plays by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's plays and that entrant may be disqualified."

One tip I learnt through Flyertalk though, is that if you click on the link down the bottom of the screen for not being able to see the shopping bags you get to learn if you win or not straight away rather than kerfuffling with matching the shopping bags.

    Well I just won 1000 points :)

Looks like prizes are still available.

(Wondering of course if the points will ever turn up due to several factors including being Australian etc).
