Hmm - looks like an easy waste of a few mins a day Only need to remember to do it each day. The chances of winning are pretty small though - only 6125 winners in total (yes I did read the rules - I am that sad)

Tempted if I do win a prize - or even to use one of the special vouchers that you get linked to - i.e. Staples noise cancelling head phones. If I do go to the US soon I gues I can get things delivered to the office there

Given that its not yet 1am in Ft Worth (AA head office) and you can enter once per day, I suspect the chance of them all going in the last 55 mins is pretty slim.

Why would they all run out in the first day? Given that its a random chance of winning - I expect that they forecast the daily number of players and biased the random chance for an relatively even split of winners - pretty easy to do really.

I was commenting on the fact that each person can enter once per day. So the current "day" had only been going for less than an hour at that time.

Not sure if the prizes are distributed evenly between the days or just random over the whole competition period.

Sorry, I misunderstood. My concern is because lots of the initial FT posts were winners, and then later there seem to have been far more losers.

and according to the IP phone here on my desk (that has a USA 817-xx_-xx_x in-dial number from a Ft Worth located IP-PBX), its currently 3:35am over there .

That phone comes in very handy for calling AA (just a "local" call).

May not be that good an idea, although I have tried it (and it certainly didn't help me to win!)

One tip I learnt through Flyertalk though, is that if you click on the link down the bottom of the screen for not being able to see the shopping bags you get to learn if you win or not straight away rather than kerfuffling with matching the shopping bags.
