I will give them a try one day, but the best chips in the known universe are from the Mungerannie Roadhouse on the Birdsville TrackChicken Chef, Blair Athol, ADL. I was told that this the best chips in Australia. And that these folks invented the chicken salt. Bought a small serve and I couldn’t finish the whole thing. Halfway thru, I got so full I had to takeaway the rest. One of the best chips I have had so far and the salt kept me going back into the bag for another chip.
Don’t have better pic - but it’s was a very generous portion for a small serve.
My boss now tells me that I’m now part of the group that’s had the best chips in Australiaand I agree!

Like the look of that dessert @Ade !Dinner at The Meat and Wine Co, ADL CBD.
Dessert: Chocolate and Hazelnut Fondant with hazelnut praline gelato. The dessert was lovely. Will definitely order again. The cold gelato complement the warm fondant.

Lucky that I got the chilli halfway
Yes! and it tasted really good too. I'm glad I ordered it. I was leaning towards the Creme Brulee - but I have had CB before so wanted to try something different and Hazelnut is one of my favoritesLike the look of that dessert @Ade !

I love the idea of a vegetarian going to the meat and wine co in AdelaideDinner at The Meat and Wine Co, ADL CBD.
Entree: Bruschetta. Really loved this dish. The avocado base really lifted the dish.

Mains: Grilled Zucchini with lentils, cannellini beans, onion, feta yogurt, mushrooms etc. a good dish IMHO. The zucchini was cooked really well and had a nice herby taste. Personally, the dish could have a bit more kick? So halfway thru the dish, I asked for a side of fresh chilli to finish the dish. In hindsight, I should’ve asked for the chilli after the first bite. The conversation around the table was quite indulgent for me to realise to ask for chilli. Lucky that I got the chilli halfway thru though.

If you checked Wikipedia, it looks like chicken salt was invented in gala Gawler which is what I’ve always thought it was. Seasoned salt - Wikipedia.Chicken Chef, Blair Athol, ADL.
