When I see a new car that was really cute city car and I have obviously misread the car badge. Grumpy now

It hasn't really cheesed me off, but has made me a tad annoyed. One toll road near Como has no booths, you must be registered and pay by credit card, or have an account.

Had register license plate, had to tell them it was a rental and give them the hire dates, fair enough, don't want to pay others tolls.

Checked account later, 70 euro cents, dare say the cc fee will be more!

Got an email last week stating that a car with this rego number had been used again on this road. I have to pay 50 euro cents within 15 days.

I had told them my start and end dates, so I'll be very annoyed if this goes any further.

As an aside, I read in the SMH traveller section of a renter picking up a newish car in Milan. Going south on a motorway he was "brake checked". Fortunately being a newish car the sensors activated and it stopped before impact. The other driver said "sorry", yeah, right, as a rear end collision the following car would probably have been at fault, nice insurance scam.

Think I might take my dash cam next time!

I think the term is 'chuggers' (ie charity muggers). Always give them a wide berth.

The nickname for them is Ch-uggers, as in Charity Muggers. I detest them and keep walking. We happily donate to some causes with monthly payments like the Smith Family, but others as needed, or through sponsoring people we know who are raising funds for a worthy cause.

I loathe them. Our shopping centre always has several. So sick of them. I just want to do my shopping and get out of there and not negotiate with someone just to walk past.

The man who pushed in front of me at a sport store today by going around the walk through area. The girl at the desk knew it but he plonked himself. And he was very ripe. He bought $190 of DVDs. I waved to her and just said let him through. When he was done, he was very rude the way he grunted at her she apologised and I simply said it was fine, and best just to get him out of the store. I then mentioned that she must see some very annoying customers and not be able to say a word. She agreed totally. She then gave me a $5 discount on my item for being nice.
