Mum and brother want me to order Domino's pizza for them today.

2 value range pizzas for pickup are $6.99 each for total of $13.98 but if I want them delivered these same pizzas are $17 each. Seriously?

With meals delivery is total of $8 but with pizzas delivery is added to each pizza. FFS.

So why don’t you get a meal deal? Here in NSW two large pizzas with sides is $21 and delivered $28! More for less!

With delivery it's $29.99 but yes that's one option.

I was also stunned that Uber Eats have their own menu for Domino's and its exponentially expensive. Are people aware or they don't care? $25-$27 for a single Domino's pizza is sheer laziness.

Oo! I have a dominos next door. Occasionally I feel ‘the need’. For $6 on a tuesday I can get a large pizza, pick up, loaded with cheese and pepperoni! Add some chili oil and it’s delicious!!

It’s ready in less than 10 minutes from me placing the order. Salt, fat and sugar. What more can you ask for

WCMO: At a lengthy appointment today. There are smart parking meters in the street. I pull in and select and pay for parking 0918-1305. Realising that the meeting is going to carry on a bit longer I return to the car at 1218 and extend parking from 1305 to 1410.
When I return to the car at 1353 there is a parking fine under the wiper. The notice indicates they checked the car at 1305 ( I was still covered at this time under the initial time at this time) and fine issued at 1307.
So I have to download receipts for payment showing I've paid until 1410 and I take a photo of the meter showing contiguous payment 0918 - 1410. I have submitted a "review request" and reasons and evidence. I don't work so I did have it in mind to turn up to court and show them up for fools.

The penalty notice itself would get thrown out in court because my initial payment was until 1305 and the penalty states times between 1.04 and 1.04PM
Anyway, I am really CO'd.

Well in the spirit of 'old-codger-i-ness' I think you really need to go to court and fight them. It's always a bit of fun to inconvenience people......whoever the council sends will be getting paid a very comfy wage in any event so let him pay the penalty of sitting around waiting for the beak to rule..
