Exactly.
There was fried bacon and scrambled eggs in the MEL lounge on the 19th/Aug. The Eggs were running low / looking pretty bad by the time I got there (about 9:30am) so I had a pretty amazing Bacon, boiled egg and sauce sandwich.
Maybe it just tasted amazing cause I'd spent ~30hrs in transit and my tastebuds were all changed from being at altitude, either way I was a happy man.
 
If EY flew more flights into Aust, with more pax from that side of the world, ($$$ and who would use the VAd lounges) bacon might have to be taken off, as would ham, and maybe replaced with chicken slices!

Removal of bacon would not be a good thing. Although chicken in addition to bacon would be :)

Don't see why, I've had bacon and ham in the AUH and DXB lounges in the past.
 
Well, the pictures look fantastic. My built-in cynicism though makes me wonder if we'll only see this stuff one afternoon a month and only at SYD. If however, they manage to roll out this menu across all their lounges (hello PER I'm looking at you!) then I'll be extremely pleased.

I'm in the Melbourne lounge Friday lunch time and Perth Sunday night will be interesting to see what's on offer (especially Perth)
 
CBR has bacon and eggs this morning, enough for 3 or maybe 4 pax.... Unfortunately there are about 40 pax for the SYD and MEL flights hovering.

VA need to accept that we all travel on all days of the work for business (and leisure, for that matter)... The menu should be a seven day a week full menu IMO.
