Vinomofo Wine Deals

i bought a dozen of this Hewitson Private Cellar Barossa Valley Shiraz Mourvedre straight away , it is from an old vine, i can't say all wine comes from old vine worths that much but they are hard to get your hands on.

does anyone know what is that barossa shiraz 2007 at $50?

The Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz: Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz 2007 - Vinomofo

Just for comparison, I ordered the 2008 vintage (a better vintage than 2007 from reports) from Qantas Epicure for $57.66/bottle, so you're not saving too much from this deal. The 2008 is a great drop, and will only get better with time.

cool, i bought few bottles of the 2008 vintage as well, they were for tasting before at dan's, i have no idea they released the 07 vintage.

I reckon the "ICONIC SECRET DEAL Cabernet Sauvignon 2008" is the 2008 Yalumba The Menzies Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon. Thoughts?

Also if someone can work out what "BLACK MARKET DEAL Sauvignon Blanc 2013" is, I'd be eternally grateful.

Would anyone care to speculate on what the 94 point Yarra Valley Chardonnay is?

It's a pity there isn't some kind of a mof_ "in" club, because I just won't buy without knowing the origin.
Vinomofo has sold me a bit of plonk lately , and I'm generally a happy shopper.
Sorting out just what is a real deal and which is creative marketing remains a work in progress.. :)
