I really enjoyed Gomersal Rosevale Shiraz. Claymore London Calling was also good. Wood Park - I've had one of their red blends which was quaffable, though fairly light. Haven't had the others.

1000 pages indeed.
I've only been registered on here for less than a year after lurking for 6 months prior to that after getting into VM (and still mostly lurk as many of the questions I am thinking of are asked prior to me asking them). Thank you all for the advice on what is generally decent wine on the site, and most importantly on what is not so good and to be avoided. Some good banter and tales told here for sure.
🍷🥂🍾😀

Claymore is current on 'special' at Skye Cellars. Skye Cellars ... double check pricing first.

Got an email offer from the lovely Charlotte at VM for a mystery 2105 Barossa Shiraz down from $80 to $20 that would appear to be: - Lindsay Wine Estate the 2015 LWE Lindsay Wine Estate Shiraz. Question is what the heck is it like? Any observations gladly received...

Not sure it's the same wine, but the $80 price point matches:

There's a mouthfeel and flavour that I find hard to analyse, making the wine difficult to handle.

James Halliday

Published 30 June 2021 84pts. Cork seal.

Export oriented winery, likely one that didn't make it to China.

Thanks for the pointer RB, Halliday's comments are hardly inspiring. I had a look at Vivino shortly after posting as there's sod all out there online and instead found their 2015 Summit Shiraz which despite scoring 4.2 had some very uneven reviews, after hearing about the probable China Market syndrome I'll give it a wide berth

Just got delivered another case of the exquisite Quartage 2018 which ironically was one of my quartage imbibed on Wednesday. Very respectable all of them .
