2013 is 12.50 on VM at the momentGeeze thats a blast from the past that one. I think I bought that from them over 3 years ago. My review is 4 stars...but 3 years ago I was a lot more generous with my scoring, and a lot more naive in what a great wine was.
Still I do remember the price to quality ratio was quite high.

PRE-ARRIVAL: Shiraz 2010 - Black Market Deal #31835 $14 (from $35)
Is this likely to be UMAMU Estate?
And if so, has anyone got any comments?
If it's not, any ideas on what it might be?
As with so many BM deals they sound intriguing and ripping value but in truth they really know how to "over-egg the pudding", I have learnt the hard way to do due diligence with all their offerings both masked and unmasked...
Doesn’t VM have a 365-day no questions asked return policy?
I haven't tried that Penley. But I have tried other Penley's and found them to be average to OK. Not worthy of purchasing again.Has anyone tried the Penley estate special select Shiraz at $15 a bottle? (Ignore the $50 rrp). Wondering to how it would compare to say the Wynn’s Coonawarra Shiraz at $11 a bottle from Dan’s.
The return policy is very good, it's more the nuisance value of making a return and either getting a refund (can be something of a wait) or a store credit which can be instant once notified of collection. I've made a return on quite a few wines over the years with VM but the frustrating thing is when you get a store credit and replace mediocre with mediocre....Doesn’t VM have a 365-day no questions asked return policy?

I'm not very impressed with the '16 GSM if that's relevant. Hopefully they offer some more Cab or Cab blendsMaverick 2016 Shiraz is up...looks like they changed the colour of the screw cap to the GSM blue. I haven't had a Maverick for a couple of vintages, and I'm pretty sure they sold the winery didn't they? Has anyone tried the 2016?

I can confirm that it is indeed the Swinney Tirra Lirra, and a beautiful wine it is. I think that it will only improve with age.I have the below for this one - have not tried
