Vinomofo Wine Deals

I love this but it’s a struggle to buy again at $25 when I first bought at sub $16.
Drinking a 2010 Madeleines Pudding Stone right now, and thinking the same, when I got this sweet drop for around $12. So many bargains out there, its very hard to justify over $20 for anything these days for me :)

I've one lonely bottle left of the Pudding Stone and am holding onto it for a bit longer as I loved it so much, yes what a bargain Chonka, I managed to latch onto Madeleine's 2010 Old Vine Shiraz from Grays a while back at a very decent price and it is nearly as good. Totally agree with you price-wise, I'm loathe to go over the $20 mark and mostly buy at $10-15 bearing in mind these are for wines frequently in the $30-40 RRP range...

So it seems that my free delivery has/is ending.
There is a new deal where folks can pay $35pa for unlimited deliveries and lucky (sic) VIM's can get it for $17.50.
With every nook and cranny already full of plonk, I suspect that postage will not be much of a personal concern looking forward...

I ended up renewing the annual $50 delivery for Dan's...the benefit is you can order 1-2 bottles at a time rather than a dozen. I'm working through most of the Secret Selections and finding many are better value than VM.

Can anyone tell me what the wine is? currently Kemenys offer $11

Updated: I just call Kmenys, they said it is capel vale.

I've been through a fair few wines recently. I liked the following: Terre a Terre 2015 Rouge. Spy Valley Echelon 2011 sparkling. I was on the fence with regards to the Penley Estate EOS 2014. The cabernet in it seems to be top notch but maybe the shiraz is a bit overdone? I think this would have been good value at $40 instead of $60. I did not like the: Hollick 2015 Botrytis, Conte Over the Hill shiraz 2012 and the Kate Goodman chardonnay 2016.

Of historic interest: The Jaja 2010 shiraz is still really sweet and in your face and drinking well if you like that sort of style. The Denton View HIll 2014 Shiraz has entered a really nice phase of its lift and I will be drinking the rest of my six pack over the next few years. The Pertaringa Rifle Hunt Cabernet 2014 was exceedingly disappointing. Thin and weedy although it is starting to show some secondary development. I wonder whether there was something wrong with the diam stopper.

Any suggestions for this? Seems like pretty keen pricing.

This is Falcon Ridge. I've never tried it and can't find much on it to make any judgement but the price looks good. Available from winery for $45 curently down from the quoted $50 but that's from NZ.

Anyone snap this one up?
