Vinomofo Wine Deals

FWIW my Salvation arrived last night (after two failed deliveries to a Parcel Point...) not unhappy with the mix:
2011 Thousand Candles (I actually liked the 2012, but have read the 11 isn't great)
2014 Ulithorne Unicus
Blue Pyrenees Red 2012
Bleasdale Shiraz 2012
Galli Estate Lorenzo Shiraz 2014
Gapstead Tabacco Rd Pinot Noir 2015
Prancing Horse Chardonnay 2010
Bayliss Rd Black Label Shiraz 2015 (drank last night, not great)
Ulithorne Famalia 2015
A riesling
Fox Gordon B&S Pinot Gris
Haslegrove Switch GSM

Better than the last Salvation case, and no Think Outside the Circle which is a win.

For $99 that is a very decent mix

If your search for GSM McLaren Vale 2013, it's in the search results...

GSMMcLaren Vale2014$32$12.5016/05/2016Rosemount Little Berry MV #8733RQWS95, 3 Gold, now $11.50

I wouldn't touch it for half the $11.50 asking price!

"Nasssty little berrieses, it must returns them to Mt Doom"
In other words - don't do it!

(hopefully this constitutes content)

FWIW my case of Little Berries (minus the bottles tasted) was just picked up not five minutes ago after a fairly lengthy wait (previously documented in this thread) and I'm glad to see them waltz out the door, now I can get the store credit and get some truly slurpable wine from the 'Fo, onwards and upwards!

And as a postscript in reference to the Salvation Case I actually didn't mind the Bayliss Road Shiraz at all but one man's meat.....

........isn't going to do much for a vegan.

I think this might be a capel vale release.

Thanks concussed, have you partaken of this Cab Sav perchance?

Thanks AC, the problem for me is that I can't see very much in the way of discussion of it's merits (or otherwise), I can read lots about the 2013 but it's a bit lacking in regard to the 2014 and I haven't just searched FF. I'm sorely tempted to bang the buzzer but would like more detail-it sounds like it might be worthwhile buying...

Vegans seem to be the slightly crackpot fringe of vegetarianism BF but each to their own (perhaps one man's Nuttolene!)...

I'm curious about the Cab Sav from Margaret River on offer today https://vinomofo.com/wines/red-wine/black-market-deal-cabernet-sauvignon-2014-6adaec85-2 I've tried the search function but couldn't get any traction despite the fact that it has probably been discussed before...

The same might be true for anyone caught advising to purchase some little berries...

I recall doing some homework earlier in the year on it, and the signs pointed to 'no deal.' Seemed like the 2013 was great value while the 2014 - not so much.

A wine that's supposedly only available from cellar door (i.e. not widely available in stores) and has no review scores/notes. Hardly surprising that it's not popular...
There's a few notes up on CT: https://www.cellartracker.com/wine....DW2331705_1_K12ba8f3439e93d3856140c97f9b60912
I've no intention of buying it.

Thanks for the heads-up v50 (Makes you sound like a Volvo now!) it's always good to have even a glimmer of insight otherwise I'm back on the "return to sender" carousel of pain! The Little Berries appears to have been torpedoed good and proper....

Sounds like you have an itchy trigger finger, and VM would probably get confused if a week went by that W&D wasn't cracking skulls about a return. Don't let us hold you back!

I have to say you have forced me to continue with the old adage about learning something new everyday. I wonder whether it goes Ok in a toasted hamburger bum caressed by eggs and bacon and tom sauce. Yum. Washed down with a Fo spesh.

Now now, that almost sounds like an admonition Mr V! Mind you three weeks, sheesh....

I'm sure them's fighting words to a vegan (if vegans could spill blood BF!)
Page #1000 and post #9996.. pretty amazing advertising vehicle for the 'fo

Not entirely sure what the intimation is there tgh, positive or negative for the 'Fo!?!

Not at all my friend. VM markets their business as only selling "wines we love and drink ourselves" and backs up that statement with a solid return policy. If they want to flog swill, that's on them.
