Contraband SA 2013 shiraz, possibly the beresford bell tower? Anyone confirm or deny this?

It's been offered before last year, at $8.25, that price was in the original graphic, now fixed.

My guess last time was
After a quick look, I'm guessing this is the Anarchist Mt Benson Shiraz, scored 95/Gold at Melbourne and Limestone Coast shows, around $20, 14.0%.

I've had no confirmation or real interest in following it up. The old link http://vinomofo.com/deals/red-wine/mof_-contraband-deal-shiraz-2013-b5e8efcf goes now to this new listing.

Very drinkable, this will be the second but don't tell the wife!

Also looking at the 2013 McLaren Vale Shiraz Cab $40 - $12 but can't identify via my limitedknowledge & access to phone based searches - any ideas?

Yes, well after everyone's good reviews of the Gundagai shiraz, I would probably have got more, but had just bought a case of the Penna Lane (i'm a sucker for any shiraz claiming blackcurrant and spice) and a black market that from previous posts have determined is the Mule (bit worried now because of the ho hum reviews posted here...).
Now worried that the Gundagai may turn out to be another yummy quaffer like the Thistledown Two Roads (yes! after initially drinking before the poor little buggers had settled down after being freighted and thought was below par, but second tasting when they had rested, changed my mind totally to 'mmmm delicate and scrumptious') Of course now thistledown tr sold out, even emailed the winery, they have sold out too :(
But can only buy so many at a time...so may end up lamenting..

Welcome aboard Miss bick, I look forward to your thoughts after you sample the Gundagai Shiraz

Thankyou Steady, and will let you know. I'm sure it will be reasonable at least. One thing i will vouch for is consistancy in the reasonable and upwards quality in Vinomofos wines, even if some of them have not been to my particular taste, still very drinkable. Other brokers are definately hit and miss, with more misses than hits (as i think i read elsewhere in these posts). I will probably burn in hell for all the 'misses' I passed on to unsuspecting acquaintances. Or at the very least have a sizeable karmic debt :)

Drinking my first of 24 bottles of the hh gundagai. Intense nose of plum and spice mostly white pepper. Palate of plum and red berries with intense and long length finish with good white pepper and fine silky tannins. The wine is light to medium but in a very good way, almost pinot like. It's well structured and could happily cellar 10 years but drinking well now. My dear wife is from SA and this is so not a SA wine. I love it! Best fo purchase and first of the year too - not too impressed lately. Also bought the 3oceans ssb. Yet to try but looks good.

Oh I'm so glad you posted about the Thistledown, Miss bick! I bought two cases of that one for my sister's wedding and it's been sitting in SA untasted thus far (my sister is not a wine drinker - hence my organising the wines for her ;) )

I think you'll enjoy the Mule. Got it last time on offer and it's one of my better purchases from these guys. Should age well.
Bought the Gundagai this time, so will be interested to see what it is too. Listed alc% didn't seem to match the Hungerford?

It is definitely the hungerford. I restrained myself from buying more yesterday, I've got way too much wine at the moment and nowhere to store it properly so passed.

The Mule 2015 I didn't purchase, this was on the back of a friend having bought a case, his comments were that it is 'not offensive' and 'pleasantly OK'. Which didn't excite me too much. I can't believe they are selling it from their cellar door for over $500 a case.
