Ok so I only looked at the website...they only have 2010 listed which was a recent VM deal.

Looks like the 2012 vintage of the Penley Reserve Cabernet. Price has crept up from $19.90 for the 2010 to $22.00 for the 2012!

I think I know why. Penley estate would have found the older vintage somewhere unexpectedly and wanted to clear it to move space and then sold it to VM at a great discount. VM more than likely had to pay much more for the 2012 stock and therefor had to raise the price

Per the search, the Vale Shiraz down from $80 to $29 is the Mitolo Savitar Shiraz 2010.

Description says that they had the 2012, which matches Capel Vale.
Also alcohol doesn't match with the Plantagenet
