Neither are made in big quantities, so I wouldn't expect it to be super discounted...

FWIW, I think both of them are okay deals on really good stuff which isn't easy to come by. I guess you can just as easily pick up a GS for similar money (in smaller quantities) though.

The Oakridge is a really nice Chardonnay. It's also on at Dan's at $28.80 online.

Nice, would be interesting to see if you get the 2012 or 2013 from Dans... I may need to experiment (for academic reasons of course).

I am a big fan of St Hallett generally. They make cracking wines at virtually every price point. The St Hallett Reward 2012 got 88(+) points from the Winefront's Gary Walsh. I would personally go with the Winefront review before the JH one. Still a pretty good wine for the money by the sounds, a little too acidic apparently being its main issue.

Any ideas as to what the $9.90 2014 Shiraz from Mount Barker is ($33 RRP)? It's a restock but I can't find it after a search. I assumed it would be a Capel vale but doesn't match any of their offerings.

Does anyone have any ideas about the Black Market 2013 Chardy? The K1 by Geoff Hardy looks a possibility but I can't find the CM review or any tasting notes for 2013. Any ideas?

Havent read the description but got a Golding chardy in the boombox, maybe check that out if it matches?

Kinda shocked at the love for St Hallett here. I've had 3 different ones this month and haven't really liked any of them enough to buy another (let alone a whole case) of.

Also thought the Belgravia was terrible. It was poured down the sink.

Is that the Belgravia "Alfred" shiraz..if so, had one a few weeks ago, left open for an hour it became a reasonable quaffer, ten bucks at best. Not great.

I guess St Hallett is like a smaller version of Penfolds - they make some good wine, some rubbish and everything in between.

Anyone a member of the vinomofo wine club?

My fiance got me a subscription a few months ago (how i found out about mof_)

The next case is due in a couple of weeks last one was okay (had the yalumba cigar and the bleesdale generations in it) along with a bunch of quaffing stuff.

In general what are they like?

Vinomofo have a 2014 Chardonnay from Margaret River on this morning for $99/case

My best guess is Miles from Nowhere, matches Halliday 93 points and Top 100 from 2014?

EDIT: As usual turns out this isn't a new deal, it is a rehash of one weeks ago.

I haven't tried it, but the new release tag has got me a little worried......i guess unless you go bang and try, you will never know. Tho is the same crowd who make devils whiskers, and that 'is don,is very good'. This one I think retails for more...dunno as I am using my phone. Now if this retails for more, and then tastes less, Houston we have a problem. Just got my star lane sixer shiraz delivered, mitolo returns very soon. They way I see it, a free bot is total justification for the mucking around. However, it would have tasted better, for my palate, if it was a fox and hounds. Then again I would have kept them

And it's not worth buying IMO. It doesn't taste anything like Chardonnay - more like Sauv Blanc.
