Vinomofo Wine Deals

I'm not so proud or pretentious that I have the need to make myself appear so superior to everyone else.

So let me be extremely explicit. I believe that it is Fox Creek and I've ordered 5 cases on that basis.

I was just going to say something similar : so it appears to be the Fox Creek Shiraz 2013. It looks a great deal at that VM price if the winery write up (and recent JH score) are to be believed ...

Ah, but which Fox Creek?

No, but you do like to think you are superior enough to assess another persons motives or intentions or character with no real research or basis in fact.

I don't have a Doctorate, but I do generally work on logic and facts.

That was confirmed by redbigot in post # 4574. And after ruling out the Short Row, and as the Red Baron doesn't fit the description, I am very happy with my purchase. I expect it is the Resolve, but would be even happier if it is the Reserve.

There is another one, probably CD only as it doesn't appear on the order form or online sales, but the price is listed at $29 on it's descriptive entry accessed from the right-hand menu on the site. That should be explicit enough given my prior clues.
I thought it could be the Short Row, but one of my members noticed the other one, the benefit of a community effort.

Late on a Friday, it's time to liven things up from the VM crew. They certainly have created a mild storm with this one. And as they say, any publicity is good publicity. Look at the list of mof_s on now, including me, and it sure as hell works. However, I believe you are talking about an eight dollar wine here. My brother is the one who says it's worth what you paid for it. What, eight bucks ? I disagree. The 2012 Glenlofty is very good, but it needed a contrast. Out came the 2014 Innocent Bystander McLaren vale gateway vineyard Shiraz 2014. Looking up a few resources, I see BC liked this one. Emminetly darker than the Glen, it is certainly good. Both with osso bucco tonight, both without. Both very good wines, but there has to be a winner. After three hours of decanting, I am a little surprised but the Glenlofty suits MY palate better. Not by much though...back to the footy.

oh yes, with all the argy bargy going on, I sit back after enjoying sampling two really good quality individual, carefully made wines that offered incredible value and think how luck I am........goodnight

Jess is talking about their general Shiraz which is $23 and the Fox and Hound shiraz is $29.

You have both posted links to two different wines :)

Fox and Hounds Shiraz.....
Have known that since 4pm but got ignored on here otherwise I would have shared.

redbigot - would love some!

A prior vintage (2012) was offered by VinoMofo in January 2015, it has a very pretty label, but neither I or my friends were very impressed with it, a bit lean and disjointed.
It's fairly easy to find if you have access to the Wine Companion site.
The end of the JH note is "There is a minor question whether the grapes needed a few more days on the vine.", indicating perhaps some slight under-ripe character.
Not one I'm personally interested in.
