Vinomofo Wine Deals

Does anybody have some thoughts on what what this may be? Possibly the lake house premium?

Probably Umamu, they've had a lot of their wines recently, JH score, a/v, drink to and price a close match.

I have almost run out of my stash of Glenlofty Shiraz and SV and am starting to look for a replacement - can anyone advise if the Mount Avoca Back Block shiraz, being from the same region, is of a similar style and comparable etc - or totally different...

If it is different style all together - how do members rate it as an easy going quaffer.

Current vintage on the Fo is 2017
Ive never tried the Mount Avoca, but i have noticed Cellarmasters has the Glenlofty Estate Pyrenees Shiraz 2015 if you have any vouchers worth using

Does vinomofo still want to sell wine?
Not for me! Had a case in my cart from yesterday still showing $9 shipping. Cleared my cart and now that wine is ‘gone’. Found a replacement, still showing shipping. VM don’t want my business clearly!
Free shipping was on until 7pm and I think it started at 2pm.
As for selling wine; obviously not much of it as there is they are always running a sale; eg Flash Sale, Stocktake Sale, New Arrivals Sale just to name a few. Seems to be mostly same old stuff over and over with a few new ones here and there. Cheers

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say it's the 2016 Hangin' Snakes Barossa Shiraz from Langmeil, if this is the case then I'm keen to get on the good foot and do the bad thing, I shared a glass or two of Langmeil's Yakka Shiraz a few weeks ago and was an instant convert - bloody delicious!
edit: of course this should have read Longview Yakka Shiraz

Hmm...Zilzie matches awards but not alcohol, the Langmeil matches alcohol but not price...

Edited...I think so, but they are quoting the alcohol level from 2015. Seems like there are at least 3 different Zilzie labels for what seems like the same description and all claiming the same awards. The Source, Regional and Selection 23

Whoops must have had a brain-fart o_O Of course Longview and Langmeil are different wineries but I somehow conflated them... I guess it must be the Zilzie after drilling down through more info online, I can't see a mention of Jane Faulkner's 90 points or the Halliday "special value" description anywhere though in relation to it and the Wine Companion gives the Langmeil 90 points from Jane Faulkner and "special value" with rrp of $20 but no mention of the CWS double gong.
