In 'communication preference' (in your Vinomofo profile), tick 'yay' to 'your personal contact'. Note that there is not much from it: Regular emails full of vinomofo coughs that doen't display prices so you need to email back to get more informations.

It is mostly correct as stated below. The only additional content is that sometimes you get offered exclusive wines with free shipping and sometimes at a slightly better price.

And you get heads up on what is available at their mostly gimmicky sales including “drops”.

Overall if you are a sensible consumer I think it is worth to be on a brokers distribution list.

And if you happen to have a coupon, they will apply it

I think that sometimes VM brokers have access to the exclusive wines that don’t appear on VM website. For example I recall early on they were exclusively selling 2008 Reschke Empyrean for $50 a bottle. Made by great Peter Douglas of 90s Wynns fame

I thought that it was a good deal, not a great deal. Also they made a major pricing blunder and had to cancel a lot of orders and resell them.

It was the standard discounted price it's often available for. Dead arm and the others in the same range $30 to $35.

You also get early access to deals before they drop on the page which can sometimes be handy. though not for the single offers that drop randomly of St. Henri or Dom.

With the additional $100 discount it worked out to be $33.23 per bottle, are they often discounted online elsewhere at that price?

That's the only Icon wine with the $100 discount. Talk about the publicity it got.
