Vaccine Rollout in Australia - personal accounts.

Had 4th vaccination, 2nd booster, 10 days ago. The first 2 vaccinations were Pfizer, only the 2nd one gave me issues as I made the mistake of mowing lawns and doing garden maintenance in the afternoon, so for the 3rd and 4th shots I made sure to do nothing for 24hrs. The boosters have each been Moderna. Last week Mrs prozac complained of a sore arm in the vicinity for a few days. No issues on my part.

The pharmacies on the Sunshine coast have Novavax availability. With some recent research that has come out I am more strongly of the opinion I will avoid mRNA shots.

Worked well enough for me, but I am leaning towards Novavax for my 3rd booster in due course...

I haven’t actually been following the covid drama for a while, but has there actually been some guidance issued on 3rd boosters/5th doses?

Have had 2x Vaxzevria, 1x Comirnaty and also 1x Spikevax. Hardly felt the latest jab.

Not everyone is eligible for a fourth dose yet, so I think we are a while away from 5th doses becoming a thing.

I've had 2 Pfizer and 2 Moderna and will more than likely go with Novavax next booster.

Mr BD and I had Novavax a couple of weeks ago before we had to do a stint with people. No side effects other than a slightly sore spot where the needle went in. They say there are fewer with Novavax. We had some reaction to the AZ and more to no.3 Moderna.

That wasn't my question. They're all approved in one way or another.

Wife had issues with both Pfizer but no issues with Moderna.

I'm the one with weak/over-active immune system and had zero issues with all 4 so far. Last one had sore shoulder for maybe 36 hours max.

I based my decision on 1st and 2nd booster vaccine based on recommendation to mix them. That's why I'm thinking Novavax and will get 3rd booster when that's available earlier than most as I'm category 1(b).

Sometimes we cannot wait for n=large as we are going to be the early ones that need to decide.

And the other thing is that just because Person A (who is same age and health as Person B) has a reaction to vaccine XYZ then it doesn't always mean Person B is going to have any reaction or the same reaction.

Understandable. It's still nice to know.

If there's a pothole across the road I'd like to know early.

Also there's 1 in 10,000 chance of having serious issues (possibly death) from a liver biopsy. I don't need to do one unless it's already life threatening. Doctors just wanted me to do a liver biopsy to rule out other issues that may not have shown up in the scans I did.

Had my 5th injection last week (as immunocompromised a/c MM I had primary course of three rather than two). Have now had two AZ and 3 Moderna.
