US Airways 100% bonus SHARE promo @ 1.0cpm!

Shared on Sunday, nothing showing yet. Previous share was 72 hrs, hope by the days end or tomorrow for this lot :)
 
Still waiting for my 2 trasnfers Friday night to show... I've did an online chat with points.com and she said she sent it through to helpdesk and I should hear back in half an hour... that was about 36 hours ago...

USDM guy was helpful but said that these transactions are done by points.com and I need to contact them. He said they have a points.com liaison officer that can help but it may take 2 weeks to get to by which time the share promo would be over.

I called my CC company (I paid on my ANZ Amex) and they said they can see the 2 transactions sitting there pending waiting for points.com to complete.

So I have emailed points.com again to ask them to look again. I've used this exact card without any issues before. sigh.

Looks like they are trying to stop us from building up our points!!!! grrrr


I'm with AMEX (AMEX issued) too, charges are still pending on my card, but nothing come through yet.
 
I would imagine transaction is controlled operated by US Airways, and for they have forgotten (or somethign?) to approve a whole heap of transactions. It is a similar instance to when I first signed up and tried to buy points before the 12 day period. It resulted in charges being kept on my card for a couple of days (more than 72 hours I believe) before US (i presume) finally declined the transaction due to being less than 12 days old.

So I would imagine it is US declining and approving specific transactions (as my example is i'm guessing a US Airways specific rule?)
 
Ozbeachbabe, as flashware says, you can keep swapping 50k lots if you want between two accounts but it will only be the first 50k share to an account that will attract a 100% bonus, after that you will just be moving points around and paying for the priviledge...
Is the 50,000 limit on both sharing and receiving? Not that I have a need for a great number of miles at this stage.
 
I'm still waiting for a share done last Saturday to be processed. Other shares during the promo period took a day or two to go through.

I'm working on the assumption that the Buy/Gift and Share promotions are separate, and thus the bonuses that can be gained from either promotion are mutually exclusive.

The limit is on receiving. You can share more than 50K miles, this is from actually doing this, not just the T&C's.

Mine as well. Seems like it was some issue blocking a lot of people. Now I have 2 more shares to complete before End of month. Hopefully same thing doesn't happen.

This appears to be correct as I have family accounts that have both received the maximum 50K share bonus and also bought miles themselves getting double miles this month.
 
I don't understand why people panic over slow points, yes they are all arriving OK ;)

Now I can see the panic if people are doing extensive sharing chains and trying to squeeze in all of their sharing before the close of this promotion.
