Hi all,

I really should know the answer to this question however it has fallen out of my brain.

If two tickets are booked on the one PNR is the higher status used when looking up upgrades (assuming the higher status person made the bookings)?

i.e One person is a Gold and one is a Bronze. Should the Gold book both tickets on the same PNR and then submit the upgrade request for both?

Thanks!

Definitely the Gold should book, and can request the upgrade. I'm not sure if it would help the Bronze though, as presumably their QFF number will be against their name. Coupling the request may drag the Gold down, but only speculation on my part.

As far as I can tell, the T&Cs are not explicit on this point, but I believe your gold status would prevail.
Bear in mind that the other person has to be an eligible family member to share your upgrade request.
