Just got another offer, thats two in one year, currently at 2100 SC with year end this month, odd!

Interestingly this one is domestic and ditch flights only!

I got this too and it's also my second this year. I also got comped gold at 360sc. I'll use this offer after 31 October on domestic jasa as that's when my new membership year commences. feeling very loved by Qantas this year .

I've also just received this one, my first for the year. I was glum at missing the first one (and reading about everyone else here who did get it ) but now I have a real shot at requalifying WP. Thanks Qantas!

Also just got my first offer for the year. Only on 350 SCs but am WP and membership year ends this month so will go back to SG. At least this gives me a shot at WP for the next year or at worst SG. Did they notice I moved most of my flying to DJ when they gave me SG? Probably not.

Should make sure I requal easily, but probably would have anyway...

Double SC offer

First post for me here, I just received an email offering DSC between now and december..

I have one question that hopefully someone can answer for me.

If I have a voucher from a flexi fare worth 300 odd dollars sitting in my bookings, can I put it towards a flight and have it classified as a new booking and therefore qualify for double SC on that route. Or do I need to start from scratch and pay the fare (without using the value of the voucher)

Thanks QF. You helped me make up my mind on who to fly in J to LHR after Christmas. Was tossing up between QF or SQ (to help retain my DJ status), but this thread has just made me book the flights (finally).

I will now be enjoying the comforts of the SQ 380 as QF are now just punishing loyal WP who earn their status the hard way with all of these DSC offers. Two in a year is just criminal.

As I am only a 2 year veteran of Qantas I am wondering if the DSC thing is new, i.e. has this only been occurring for the last few years or does it date back 5, 10, 20 years but just more publicised these days? For what it is worth, I have not had any DSC offers in those 2 years. I am happy and content that with travel plans in the coming years I will remain SG until at least June 2015 without waiting for a DSC e-mail to drop into my inbox.

As a WP who has received two offers this year, it's made no bearing on me retaining my status. I'd still have retained it regardless.

In the last 18 months I've had more DSC offers from VA than QF.

It has made me decide that I'll be flying the red roo for the rest of the year.. VA will need to wait. (Checks email to see if VA email has arrived offering the same)

I got it too. My second for the year (got the HKG one previously). Actually second ever, IIRC.

I've already requalified WP on SCs 5 weeks into my 2012/13 year thanks to the 7-week DONE5 finished 12 days ago. Just need two more ~ flights to confirm WP for approaching the tenth straight year.

I already have some domestic flights booked Nov-Dec so looks like I'll pass on this DSC offer.

It's hard to figure if they are random or directed.

I received one back in 2007.. Other people have had them before that.

I got it for the first time in 2002.

I haven't received anything this time though.

Sorry, I think i posted in the wrong section before.

Just wondering if anyone here knows if I can use a flight voucher (from a previous cancellation) during the promotional period and still qualify for the double SC?

It was a flexi fare, and I would like to just use the value of it for a flight to perth, but will only do so if the actual flight I book will qualify for double.

The tragedy is I received it about 45 minutes after I completed a J award booking BNE-HBA with DJ.:shock: A JASA on QF BNE-MEL-HBA would have been a nice little earner.

The recitation of the rules for the J Reward booking on DJ aren't clear on whether I can cancel my booking AND redeem the credits, anyone know about that?

You should be able to get a full refund with DJ.
