Nice touch with the white text. As I am only half way through I haven't accidently stumbled across something I didn't want to know.

Thanks, For some reason the normal [spoilers] brackets don't seem to work on here, or I'm not doing it correctly. Either way, enjoy the rest of the series.

Massive Mad Men spoilers on the front page of a couple of papers. I mean how hard is it? They weren't specific but now I know to anticipate something throughout the episode.

I'm re-watching GoT so I can run it into the current series - watched S2E10 last night. Picking up things one hadn't noticed before...

The current GoT has diverted immensely from the books according to MasterP. Especially for Sansa and Arya.

I've stopped comparing it to the books, the only similarities between the books and show now are the names. While it's interesting to see what Darth Sansa gets up to I have not been overly impressed with how the show has treated some of the characters recently. Notably, Loras.

Quite an old series now, I enjoyed The Shield.

I only recently, as in last year, worked my way through the 7 series of The Shield. Very good, but...

I think ive re-watched it about 6 times now. fantastic series, really great show for its time. Also check out the wire, its along the same lines.

.... The Wire is better. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't.

At the start of each season I feel I should rewatch all the previous GoT series so I can understand what's happened. Haven't managed it yet.

Looks like the series will overtake the books and end up in a different place perhaps.

I thought the last (4th) series of Homeland was great - better than series three by a long way. Series one was hard to top but it's a show that always has you on edge.

I havent read the books myself yet, but plan to soon. from what I have heard and read online, and interviews etc. Martin has told the script writers the outline of whats going to happen (especially the ending) They are staying true to this ending. but will more than likely take some slightly different paths to get there as they are making it up on the run.

I loaded the books onto my kindle and read them in a run whilst travelling to France & the UK - really enjoyed them (and just like some of the binge-watching tv series), loved the thought of a stash waiting for me. I seem to recall George Martin was a games writer? and even more fuzzily recalling did he put out feelers for his fans to suggest/write some of the later storylines. It might have been easier to watch than read, the books were so densely packed with characters all I could remember was the dwarf!

Got back into reading GoT books on tonight's flight. I've worked out one of the tempers that SWMBO keeps dropping at me, I think. Much more and better explanation in print.

Flipping spoilers everywhere about the most recent GoT! This is making it difficult for our eventual binge although by the time we do it I won't know when things are coming up.

Someone couldn't help but try and spoil the Mad Men finale on the front page of one of the news websites too. Watching it tonight...

I'm finding s5 of GoT to be lacking in any real action. There are so many different story lines on the go I hope we don't end up like Lost where not all the story lines were completed by the time the show ended.

MasterP isnt enjoying it as much recently either. But I can see some story lines merging.

I am looking forward to Brianne's revenge though. Maybe even 'Reek' revenge.
