TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

I love the Mother of dragons, she's my favourite character. We are just watching the last few episodes of series 4. Arya Stark can take a hike ;)

We're finishing off S5 of The Walking Dead at the moment, and then it'll be back to Game of Thrones next week with the white walkers. There sure is a lot of zombies about at the moment.

I thought the last scene from Season 1 Episode 10. ... The Khalessi Fire scene and birth of the dragons was one of the best scenes in a fantasy video/movie. The build up to that was fabulous. IMHO.

Just finished The Walking Dead last night - you can never get too comfortable with any characters on that show either.
Now onto GoT again. We spend months and months waiting for the new series and then it's over way too fast.

I've read the books up to where the series is. Well they are not exactly aligned as I'm ahead on some storylines but behind on others. I must say there was a big shock in there which hasn't been on TV yet. Oh wait... spoiler alert!

The Red Wedding was a big shock but I can't say whether it was worse than the fight between the Viper and The Mountain.

Have read up to the same point - looking forward to some surprises!

I know what shock your talking about! Some people not happy that. Could come later.
I wonder if Ser pounce will make another TV appearance?

It's legal in Australia to avoid geoblocking (as it should be because of the predatory pricing and bad performance of Foxtel an Apple etc) and this is not difficult to work around...

Let's hope (fat chance) that the LNP and their Nationals negotiators do not bugger Australians in the up coming US PPP. (As they did last time.)

It may be legal for Australians to use geoblockers,

But would be pretty certain that US HBOs, Netflixs etc contract with the studios only allows them to distribute within the US and includes some obligation to stop overseas viewers accessing the content.

Quite liking Lost Girl on Stan - up to S4...
Then back to Better Call Saul...

Been breaching my internet quotas!

I did a bit of a 30 Rock marathon on the weekend. Still only in S3.

Telstra recently upped my account from 200 to 500GB at no charge :)

One positive from the high AU piracy rates, is that NetFlix has priced itself lower in AU than most other countries to try to overcome it.

Yes but do you not think that because if the significantly lower content they should be anyway?

( is/was also naughty of them to not charge GST.)
