I'm all for kids should be on planes and it's ok for kids to cry but every pax on this flight should get a refund after actually watching all 4mins of this.

Kid obviously has behavioural issues but it's not fair to visit them on all these people without some compensation to them.

Nightmare material. Usually you can hear some words but not here and some gibberish so maybe behavioural issues. Mom obviously not prepared with no stuff on iPad pre loaded. She maintained her calm though.

I must admit, I wouldnt be upset about the climbing on the seats if thats what keeps him quite - pick your battles type of thing. If theres turbulence and he gets smashed, deal with that then.

Poor kid, cant imagine what being an adult is going to be like for him or his family.

Sure. But I’m betting it wasn’t Moms seat he was climbing on. And then there’s the person behind. Next to. And so on. Collateral inconvenience. I wonder how he went on the way over.

True. Didnt think of someone trying to watch their IFE and theres a kid there.

We had something similar on flight from Colombo to Kuala Lumpur, though not as bad, the young girl was jumping around on empty seats, running up and down the aisle, yelling but not screaming, the couple that I'm guessing were the parents were speaking German (her) and he was speaking with an Australian accent did nothing.
She had headphones on and obviously didn't want to know. The cabin crew also said/did nothing, luckily it was a relatively short flight.

That is why we go row 2 or 3.

I fly to EDI every week atm in Club Europe (J); normally go row 1. Thought I'd try row 2 about a month ago as couldn't stretch my legs enough, but quickly ended up back in row 1 again due to the lack of seat pitch in row 2...!

I had a guy in BNE pick up my wallet & phone from the bin as it was about to go through the scanner, transfer them to another bin and then put his bag into my old bin. It didn’t actually make any sense. After I got through the body scanner I caught up to him and told him he must never touch another persons belongings ever again. He asked me what my problem was. I told him in quite a loud voice that he could be a DRUG runner or work with EXPLOSIVES. I’m 151cms tall and he looked kinda shocked. I was hoping that security would come and question us, but they’re not as on the ball as you might think in Brisbane.

I also complained to the scanning personell as well, and you know? They just shrugged.

Honestly though, what if this man had transferred drugs or explosives residue onto my belongings?

Edit for Pushka: 70-75 yo old male. Well dressed. Not overweight

I had a lady start picking up my liquids bag on Tuesday and putting it into her bag; gave her a little prompt and she was very apologetic she started taking stuff from my tray. It's not always ill intent...

Must admit, next visit Vegas, hubby wants to see Celine.

Parents saw Celine in Vegas 2 years ago, enjoyed it. Memories of childhood for me being tortured by Celine whilst driving around ;)

And there go the last of the Cointreau soaked strawberries, whilst watching the top three people who slid down a hill earlier.

Still happy.

Our gin is nearly ready - picked a bunch of sloe berries after the first frost. Just need to get some sugar syrup in there and then it's ready for a taste.

Exactly what will happen to my bathroom and toilet. My plumber is also doing the tiling and she has booked the other people required. Estimated time from commencement to conclusion is 10 working days.

We completely gutted ours and rebuilt, was about 10 days so sounds about right! Fortunately did it during a heat wave in the UK (3 days over 30 degrees) so the plaster dried quick :D

In Australia rows 2 and 3 on the A330 has bin space overhead. You cannot have a bag at your feet in row 1.

I usually get on early for that reason - 1A tends to have nothing due to O2 equipment etc. so I normally pop mine overhead 1 D/F.

Luckily Chucky did not vomit green or spin his head round 360

We sold a property last year and about 6mths ago, the house 2 doors down listed for sale.

Like for like, actually I prefer the other house more/easier to prep for rental, and its price has dropped a couple of times and its now listed for $35K less than what we sold. Ouch. I think its still got another drop to go, in todays market. In my area, what use to sell in only a few days is now for sale for months.

The property market is an inexact science @Denali

I am glad to be where I am now, and the timing of my move was probably right (circa Aug - Oct 2016). Both places had long settlements which suited me.

It is funny though - spent a heap of money getting the place painted (did a bit myself, but outsourced most of it due to time constraints). Drove past a few months after settlement and the curtains were gone with tape on the windows. New owner obviously painting again.

I'll just leave this here...

What was the issue?.
The hot plates are shiny?. In which case the plates have not been seasoned so everything sticks.
I don't know what's wrong. The hot plates do not look shiny but for some reason everything sticks. Should I be using some sort of spray?
