Crikey - are the roads in MEL ever quite today - seems like again I am the only person in MEL working.

We had 2 trucks in Fri collecting cartons to ship and Aust Post van for small parcels - all 3 said most of their customers on Fri had virtually zero shipments as most already shut down for long weekend. Now I am confused - Fri was a working day - Mon is working day - Tue is Cup Day so holiday in MEL - but half the city take Fri and Mon off to give them a 5 day 'holiday' - not sure what I am doing wrong but clearly I need to work it out!

Ok is this legal? Chemist Warehouse has an ad for a product for from $4.99 but sells it from ~$7. No mention of the true price in the catalogue.

I feel your pain. We have booked our cat in for all of next June, $336 down payment, and $672 on arrival at the "Pet Hotel".

Just another added cost in the whole travel thing...

That's a big deposit. Our kennel demands all xmas bookings to be paid in full by 1st Nov ... no pay, they cancel your booking. Nice business plan.

Need help from a Brisbane local.... If I am driving from BNE to Kangaroo point then next day down to MovieWorld, then return journey, will I have any tolls? Do they take cash?

Do blades last on average a month each?

There are no tolls between Kangaroo Pt and Movieworld and no tolls on the Story Bridge. Follow the City signs from BNE and avoid any tunnels as they are toll roads. Tolls do not take cash any more but if you use one you have 3 days to contact and pay by CC

There are 2 fixed radars on the return from Movieworld to KP

Um I'd like to correct an error concerning lost money concerning kennels posted..... On credit card there are points to be earnt and flights to take.... Money spent on pets is a means to a flight?

Take Nudgee road, then Kingsford smith drive.

I'd take the inner city bypass from Breakfast Creek and loop anti-clockwise around the CBD to Kangaroo point. Otherwise go through Fortitude Valley and over the Story bridge (Traffic can be bad that way).

For Movieworld just head down the Pacific Motorway and take exit 60, signed for Helensvale, Movieworld and Wet and Wild.

Make sure, if you have a rental car, to tell them on pickup you are not using tolls.

That's how I view it as well. Knowing that my cat is being well looked after means a lot to me so I'm happy to pay for the best.

A month, unlikely. I probably shave twice a week on average, and find I get good use of each blade for about five or six goes before there's too much game of thrones going on.

That sounds very good value compared to our neck of the woods starting at $60 a day.. (for cats)
