Plantar fasciitis.

Relatively severe pain started on Thursday and hasn't subsided. Anti-inflammatories, Nurofen Plus and Panadeine Extra do nothing for the pain.

Should I bother going to GP or just write it off as another -itis to add to the already long list?

I had plantar fasciitis about 2 years ago. Really, really painful. I limped around for months. Ultimately, I had the shock treatment, probably about 5 times, plus doing the stretching exercises, ice treatment and spending a fair amount of money on arch support shoes. I actually wore Asics Kayano's to work for about six months. When my GP sent me off to the foot specialist for the shock treatment, I was thinking along the lines of a tens machine in terms of pain (which was nothing for me). When I got to the specialist, he said follow me down the back to the room where no-one can hear you scream - I thought he was joking!

Seriously, it felt like he was jack hammering my foot. The pain was excruciating. Having said that, as soon as he finished, I could walk without pain for a few days. Each time I had the treatment, the pain got less and less for longer periods of time.

Today my foot feels pretty normal, and it rarely gives me trouble any more.

Thank you indeed. The person claimed they slept most of the flight. I suppose it is possible if they had location finder on, security find on, email on, etc.

Otherwise - play games using their software not your own!

Or make sure you don't have any programs set to 'download updates automatically' when you're traveling.

The SQ internet charges were too expensive for me so I didn't bother.

90 minutes late to work yesterday trying to get through the traffic in the Sydney Olympic Park area. For the first time in 20+ years, I'm getting signed on late & not paid the 90 minutes. Not that anyone has officially told me that yet...

I read about this a little while ago and there is an option when you sign up that once you reach your data limit, you are warned that additional charges will apply. Alternatively, you can accept additional charges without notification, which is what I believe happened on this occasion.

A bit like leaving data roaming on when overseas.

Last night we were out with 2 folks from Buffalo. Those photos may indicate a bit of climate warming might be appreciated.

It's now called climate change. Because that can include anything, including just "weather".

There was an interesting tweet from the Buffalo Sabres NHL team. Somehow despite the conditions referred to in previous messages, only 1 player missed the game in Buffalo due to being snowed in.

Some guy in Australia is said to have sent this message to his girlfriend after 7 weeks of dating.

Thoughts?

Well he did say he downloaded 155 pages/emails and a large file to his co-workers, so he should have seen it coming

I think he is a little too fixed in his ideals (depending on age of the couple). The swearing point is probably the only valid one...

Not being nice to animals is also a valid point....

Oh hayfever go away

I seem to have copped it really bad this season.

I work in factory, with a tip on one side... and soil place on the other. Not the most ideal conditions.

Thankfully my office has the AC on cold so I can escape at times.
