Thank you for your feedback regarding the Qantas Status Credit Gift.Do you have a source for this? Something official that can be referenced when making such a request?
For the record, needing to write to request this is just nonsense.
What a shambles.
As you had already retained your Platinum status at the time the Status Credit Gift was announced, and your new membership year begins within 90 days of the gift being awarded, you are eligible to have the gift applied to your upcoming membership year.
To do so, please contact the Frequent Flyer Service Centre on 13 11 31 during the first month of your new membership year, and our team will be happy to assist you.
We sincerely appreciate your continued loyalty.
