Thank you for your loyalty

When was the last time any changes to status thresholds were made? Was before my time... paging infinite wisdom @serfty
Not sure about infinite wisdom, but I still have a copy of the notification document relating to the last significant change to status level thresholds .

This change came into force on 15th September 2001 when Tier Credits were replaced by Status Credits. Also, earn became based on Miles travelled, not Kilometers.

At that time to earn/retain a level the SC's required were 350/300 for Silver, 700/600 for Gold and 1400/1200 for Platinum.

Over the years since then the earn criteria for Silver has been reduced along with the introduction of Platinum1 and then Lifetime Platinum.

Lifetime Tier Credit earn was used as an initial basis for lifetime Status Credits. No travel before September 1998 has been incorporated in in life time tally as Tier Credits did not exist prior to that.

Just out of interest for those that have written an email to defer the loyalty bonus, had you already had the bonus applied to your account? And, if so, were the bonus SC then retracted from the account?

Sounds like we are overdue for an “enhancement”
