Due to popular demand of all the 1,000th post?? (No) Prize up for grabs threads, and our new playground, lets try to guess when straitman makes his 1,000th post. Some would say a long way to go. Well, so it's a long way to go.

Straitman has offered a hat as a mystery prize.

The rules are:

1. Everyone can only make one guess and cannot be changed. Dates & Times are AEST.
2. Guesses must be received by the time straitman reaches 950 posts.
3. The winning choice must be the one that is closest in date and time to straitman's 1,000th post.

I will try to maintain my perfect losing record and start the bidding with a guess of April 30th at 8:30pm!

Most unlike you to nominate a date so early in the piece. Are you felling ok?

Good idea :!: I'm guessing that I'm not allowed to guess :(

I'll reframe from looking at this forum again and will find a suitable hat for the winner :D :D 8)  :)

Only 69 posts to go before predictions close!

The usual suspects have submitted a prediction so far! There is a hat up for grabs for the winning prediction. Surely that prize alone is enough to cover the entry fee!

Code:
   BlacKnox 25/04/06 @ 5:00pm (AEST)
   Lindsay Wilson 25/04/06 @ 9:00pm (AEST)
   JohnK 30/04/06 @ 8:30pm (AEST)
   Metro Air 03/05/06 @ 5:34pm (AEST)

That's ~5 per day, hmmm...
Don't forget Bill is in Hong Kong until the 11th April.

The posting rate you mention is actually closer to ~10 per day than ~5 per day considering straitman's last post was Sat Apr 01, 2006 9:18 am.

I prefer my herring to be kippered. There's nothing like the smell of kippers in the morning ... not the taste of kippers at midday, and afternoon and evening (having eaten them for breakfast) 8) .

Had some Kippers in the LHR BA T4 Arrivals lounge last month. A bit overcooked for my liking, but OK. 8)
