I agree with her philosophy.

Totally disagree with who she thinks is superior though.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing the real robust statistics on this.

As a counter-argument...I came from a low socio-economic background, but managed to work my way through school and university to get a PhD without any parental support. They actually discouraged my education and kept telling me to "get a job". It was never about a superiority complex, insecurity or impulse control. I certainly lack the last one. I wanted to do something, so I did it.

I think success is about personal motivation in large part, not about the traits of the parents. This whole thing seems like a bunch of self-congratulatory ego stroking with the parents wanting to take credit for their childrens success.
