Background to this thread:

In a similar vein to the "Flight Availability / Upgrade Probability Help Desk" there has an increase in the posting of questions about specific seat allocation/availability on a flight. These are all valid questions and we all appreciate the efforts our members go to to provide answers.

The only drawback is that our forums can become "cluttered" with such queries. This tends to reduce the overall usability of our site.

This new consolidated thread is where you can ask questions about seating allocation/availability. Hopefully, this will reduce clutter and improve usability.

Guidelines for posting in this thread:

Please post questions about availability of specific seats in this new consolidated thread. Be sure to include the airline, flight number, Origin, Destination, date and cabin as applicable.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

Does anyone have the capacity to see how many empty seats in J on QF9 February 16th PER-LHR direct please?
Are they still limiting pax due to issues over Middle East?
Appreciate help if possible

Thanks JohnM. I make it 7 seats empty . Gives some hope for classic rewards point upgrade from Y to J for son of mine.
Down to 4 seats now - does your son have any meaningful QFF status? The TCP link you have with his booking won't do anything for upgrade status, but QFF status would help. The thing is, the P1 upgrades have likely been processed by now, but WP, SG and PS are not started yet (usually at T-60 to T-24 for WP, and SG starts from T-24), and so by the time those are done, the front will surely be filled. Fingers crossed for you in any event, and hopefully a nice journey north regardless of seating!

Cheers,
Matt.
I’ve just checked booking and moved my seat to seat to 1A as it is a bucket list item. First world problems.
My son is bronze on QF but I’m still holding out hope he’ll get the classic upgrade using my points.
Fingers crossed.

QF291/QF292 in Economy - On these Finnair wet lease A333 services, would you move from 32D extra legroom to 31D?

Totally!

I sat in 31C and at 6’3 couldn’t reach the bulkhead with my legs fully stretched out. The centre bulkheads might have had a fraction less room? But really a fraction, if at all.

I think hiwever the cabin divider was slightly bothersome for the centre aisle seats… as in got in the way a bit from time to time.

My pick of seats would be 31AC/JL followed by 31DEGH. You don’t even need to get out of your seat to allow others to pass over you to the aisle.
