>>>> ADDED 30 Sept 2010 <<<<

Background to this thread:

In a similar vein to the "Flight Availability / Upgrade Probability Help Desk" there has an increase in the posting of questions about specific seat allocation/availability on a flight. These are all valid questions and we all appreciate the efforts our members go to to provide answers.

The only drawback is that our forums can become "cluttered" with such queries. This tends to reduce the overall usability of our site.

This new consolidated thread is where you can ask questions about seating allocation/availability. Hopefully, this will reduce clutter and improve usability.

Guidelines for posting in this thread:

Please post questions about availability of specific seats in this new consolidated thread. Be sure to include the airline, flight number, Origin, Destination, date and cabin as applicable.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

I’m on QF609 BNE-MEL on Sat 8 Sept. I’m travelling (WP) with Mrs H (NB) and Miss H (PS), however they are on a different PNR due to a delayed booking ;).

At T-80 last night I tried to select row 4 which was showing available. But the new seat selection page was having none of it.

EF shows 4ABCDE available and 4F occupied. So I called QF premium line this morning and was told row 4 is blocked for travellers with assistance dogs.

HUCA? Or does EF not get it right 100% of the time?

It never ceases to amaze and amuse me what bull operators put out, perhaps it deserves a new thread and lets have some fun. see the best the worst and the most ridiculous excuses offered. Perhaps we should start if off with your post Captain? :):):)

QF3 in the 747. Seems to be the 438

Row 39 is the last row in premium economy on this map.

Can someone please let me know if the seat reclines properly? 39A in particular.

Many thanks!

Not travelling in whY, but asking for a companion who is. Do the A380 Y seats have USB power as well as other power? More specifically, the seats without power (80K), do they have any USB power to recharge headphones if necessary? TIA.

Presumably you are talking about QF, in which case, yes - there is a USB socket as well as AC power. I can't recall the exact location of them though. For most seats it is possibly USB on seat back, and AC at tip of arm rest (where available)?

Cheers,
Matt

True, all window seats are taken. There is still bulkhead seats 20A/K, but they are blocked.

Hi all,
looking to get a snapshot of the loading for tomorrows QF62 HND-BNE, 13 September. Traveling Y and wondering if it's worth assigning seats down the back of the aircraft and hopefully snag the 4 centre seats or stay in the J/K seats we have up front of the Y cabin?
Thanks!
