I still haven't got it all sorted out, but I will get there eventually! Nil barstardus carborundum!
This is going to be an interesting exercise.
I received the all warm & friendly fuzzy email from QFF about the changes to QFF with the paragraph:

We've noticed that you have an existing booking for travel on or after 1 July 2014 that is affected by these changes. We will automatically credit your account within a month of flying with the number of Qantas Points that applied when you made your booking.

All well and good, but...my booking and (rest of the party) originally had the now cancelled QF77/QF78 as the first and last flights.
After two attempts to get those flights changed to MH, (not interested in being dumped onto the orange cancer), and an additional call to re-instate one of the "now cancelled" MH flights (the rest of the party, who are on different but linked tickets, didn't have their MH flight cancelled, and got new tickets issued before the announcement), get a new ticket issued which hadn't been issued after more than two weeks to reflect the changes to MH, I wonder what the SCs & points are going to look like given the above , and the fact that a new ticket with a date after the announcement has been issued. I guess I can always ask for the ORC as I still have the original issued ticket.

Or perhaps a new even more betterer swiplifieder earning table will be thrust upon us all before this trip even departs.
Will let you all know.

By no means would it stand up to a legal challenge but we were told at the QF Loyalty lunch today that existing bookings on OW partners made prior to the announced changes to points and SC earn would earn at the old, existing rate.

Thank you Princess Fiona. Good to hear confirmation of what I was told today. Just glad that I booked in January, and did not wait till after the changes were made.

The status credits I earn on these flights will make me Platinum !!!!

My one might be a bit more of a pickle, I booked US Airways flights before the cutoff of March 29, however before they joined One World on March 31.

Now I'm wondering if I'll get the original SC for the flights from the date of booking, or will they say because they weren't part of OW before the 31st that I'll get the new rate?

Another permutation for the collective wisdom (or Red Roo preferably). I have a pre 29 March booking with BA flying WT+ from BNE-SIN-LHR.... I am assuming the status credits pre 29 March will apply. The BNE-SIN leg is on a BA code share on QF51, which since has been downgraded to Y with the change to the A330 (now B class) :( . So I have contacted my TA (Flight Centre in this case) and proposed an alternative via BNE-SYD (BA code share), and pick up BA16 there (and get WT+ for comparable legs - and a spot of Flounging!). Hoping that if this comes off, status credits will continue at the "old rate" - given the change was for a booking pre 29 March, and not exactly my choice.
