Interested but no idea as to availability that far out. It would be nice to catch up with AKL based friends and take Mrs QF WP to dinner. Bet we don't have Labour Day holiday though...(the joys of living in Qld)

Fly in Saturday, dinner, fly out Sunday. Who needs a long weekend?

Edit: We are actually flying in on Friday, but you get my point...

Medhead, yes - haven't looked for date. As I am plumbing the depths with my points balance, paying for 2x fares and lunch might be too much...

I wasn't sure if Queensland might have cancelled the holiday. I actually set up my 2015 calendar with school and public holidays on the weekend. We've suggested HKG Disneyland and hobbits for next year. The hobbits being dependent on school grades for the oldest child, but we'll probably go regardless.

Looking at the 2014 calendar, Labour Day in Qld is 6 October - so I won't be able to utilise this day unless I move to Vic by 7 March 2015 - which is, of course, improbable.

After much discussion, countless surveys, analysis of the dress code specified at the last 34 events over the previous 16 months, 3 weeks and 5 days, and then complete disregard for all of the above...

The dress code for the dinner is lounge suit/coughtail dress.

So get out your glad rags and frock up.
