Question on SC earn when flying 9W on QF flight number

Hi All,

Quick one, I am a bit baffled by the SC earn on 9W (Jet Airways) when flying on QF ticket number..

So, if I fly J on QF from SYD to DEL. SYD - SIN will be on QF metal, SIN - DEL will be on 9W metal, both will be ticketed on QF.

What will be SC earn, calculator states I will earn for both sectors, wesbite shows on,y SC earn on QF metal..

Can someone please help... thanks

If you are on the QF flight number you earn at the QF rate.

Thanks oz_mark, the only reason I am baffled is because the qantas booking page marks the 9W operated flight as QF9xx_ and the SC earn is marked as "-"

Both sq and qf fares are comparable so am wondering if i risk it with qf and book on 9w as a qf flight number and earn enough sc to hit wp... but if 9w (qfxx_x) does not earn sc then i am 200 sc down...

If you book the QF number, you will earn as per it being a QF flight. The only exception being QF codeshares on JQ not booked with the appropriate add on bundles.

Travel with 9W flight numbers (marketed by 9W) will not earn QFF SC's.

QFF points can be earned if 9W/QF operated ...
