Just thought I'd add my comments on the International Qantas Club in Wellington, NZ.
I'm not sure if this lounge is brand new, but it certainly appeared to be brand spanking new to me, or at least freshly renovated/refurbished within the last year.
For the size of the airport in Wellington and number of QF flights, I thought the QP there is really good. It has excellent views of the apron and runway with large windows with an unrestricted view of about 3 gates if you like to see what goes on when they load/unload aircraft. It also allows plenty of sunlight in to keep your mood up during the afternoon.
The lounge chairs there are brilliant and comfy and all the latest fatures like WiFi and power plugs are great for business travellers are available.
I supose the only real reason for sharing this, is because I was honestly expecting a fairly shoddy QP in Wellington given the size of the airport and that they really only have 2 or 3 qantas gates (no offence to any WEL'ers reading this
), but was most pleasantly surprised to see what the QP had to offer there.
Thumbs up to the WEL QP!
