Flying Syd-Sin-Lhr return on BA later in the year. QFF LTG member. Can I access the QF J lounges in SYD and SIN with my wife as guest and 2 kids (5&6) under the QF family lounge access policy ? Somewhat unclear on the website. What about at LHR ? Will BA allow the children a BA lounge and not count them as a guest. Thanks

Welcome to AFF :)
You will get access to the QF Lounge in SYD /SIN with your family. BA count anyone over the age of two as a "guest". You will be allowed one guest at LHR. The QF family lounge access policy is specifically for QF and does not apply to other One World lounges. Some airlines have a relatively relaxed policy to children, BA is not one of those airlines IME.

BA has one of the worst policies on this front and I can't really understand why, you could ask but don't count on it.

It's not necessarily a no go for BA. Travelling as a QF WP last year with the missus(NB) and two kids, we managed to get access to CX Flounge in T3 LHR by asking nicely, T5 BA Flounge by asking a solo traveler to guest my kid in, CX J Lounge at CDG by asking poliitely, IB lounges at BCN and MAD by showing up. This was all travelling Y.
