QF INT Seat Selection without Status

If my mum needs to fly, and I’m not accompanying her, she puts her BFOD cash amount into my account, ( she insists on this) and I blow some of my points and send her in J. That said, she doesn’t fly long haul to anywhere , and she is now moving to Oz (from NZ) and this will be a less frequent event for her. At 85 yo, I want her well seated and well looked after. In my case she also needs wheel chair assistance on and off the aircraft.
My situation is :
A. I am WP,
B. I have a good number of points (1.5 mil +)
C. I love my mum :-)

C. I love my mum :)

Me too...hence why I was frustrated because it's been so long since I flew with no status.

For her return leg I have already requested J upgrade....fingers crossed.
