From Cool Cat Phil's photos I am almost looking forward to My upcoming evening flight MEL/BNE in Y...unless my points upgrade comes through

Hmmm, not keen on the boxed dinners and this example doesn't help.
i'll swap you your boxed dinner for the scabby muesli bar or packaged slice thing I always get on qantaslink

I got a bag of carrot and celery sticks on QFLink last night - first time and not too bad
Do you eat one piece of cheese with no biscuit, or try to break the biscuits into three even portions? Decisions, decisions.

The answer my friend [-]is blowing in the wind[/-] possibly found in the thread "Gone Cracker" ...
hmmmmm ... Maybe that bit at least has changed.Write directly to Lesley Grant, their head of customer service at the Mascot HQ (Coward St).Don't expect a reply - she doesn't believe in communicating with customers.
I got that a few times on CityFlyer routes as an afternoon snack. It came in a little box with hummus dip, cheese and crackers.
I prefer the carrot and celery sticks to the muesli bar. I hit the jackpot one evening and in my box was a salami stick, wedge of "cow cheese" , and a few crackers. Tapped off with a small plastic bottle of paint stripper oops I mean Shiraz, it was a nice change from the savoury muffin thing.
Yes please. My first experience with the fish & chips boxed dinner last night on a QF flight BNE > MEL.
I can see what they'll be serving on my flights. On tonight's flight the boxed dinner offering was a choice of Penne Pasta with ricotta & pumpkin for the hot option or a Thai chicken salad with Quinoa for the cold option.
But I just realised my BNE-SYD flights for next 6 months are 5:55pm. Hahaha.![]()
Oh well. I can whinge about refusing carrot and celery sticks. Seriously? That's a cheeky timing to avoid dinner service

I think I didn't think about it too much and just chose the flight that would arrive in SYD at 8:30pm which is the same arrival time before daylight saving.Did you choose this timing because it was cheaper then the 6.25pm option?
I often choose 5.45pm SYD-MEL for that reason. I don't mind eating dinner at home if it means saving $50.
