Have they stopped awarding points on buying wine using points now?
If you use the "points plus pay" slider and set it to $0, the earn says 0 points.

Looks like it changed some time this year, maybe around the time the website changed.
You used to be able to make a (100%) points purchase and earn QFF and QBR points at the same time.
 
Looks like a generic code, not as good as the $75 one, but still a freebie if already purchasing.

*Didn't manage to get the code to stick when trying it out. I suspect these were printed before their website overhaul, which seem to have invalidated all prior codes. So might have to ask them through chat. **Though looking at it again, I might just be blind and can't tell the difference between (O 0 I 1).

I had the same issue redeeming the code. Rang through and they acknowledged they can't get it to work either so they created a new order for just the Champagne at nil dollars.

It must have. I’ve certainly used points to buy wine in the past and earned the same points as cash spend. It must be 6 months or more since I have done that so consistent with your post.
 
Does it take long for the points to show up? I ordered a case of 2015 mclaren vale Shiraz with 10,000 bonus points.

I had the same issue redeeming the code. Rang through and they acknowledged they can't get it to work either so they created a new order for just the Champagne at nil dollars.

I also couldn't redeem the code for the free bottle of champagne when spending $299 online. So I rang up and they were able to process the order over the phone. They put the champagne through as a separate (free) order, like they did for you. I did have to send a photo of the coupon by email, but that wasn't an issue.

Since I was spending more than $300 over the phone, the rep also offered to throw in an extra 3,000 points with my order which was nice.

It is also my birthday month this month - though im trying to redeem last years vouchers.

i think it’s been mentioned older vouchers did not transition to the new website so you have to ask them to manually apply them.

Thanks so much. Ive been a bit out of the loop recently with all this. Ill get in touch with them tomorrow. In your experience best to contact the Qantas Wine customer service people?
