Qantas Wine latest offering

Have only recently started dipping into the wine deals for points. The taste at the moment is a bit touch n go. From people with a bit more knowledge, Are they putting more points on the less favourable bottles?

Sometimes they do - I guess to move bottles that aren't moving.

Other times, there must be promotions/subsidies/rebates from the distributor/makers, because the same wines are being discounted/promoted via other avenues/stores as well. Epiqure doesn't seem to discount the bottles - they offer bonus points instead.

Has this offer been posted here yet? I ordered 12 of the Best's Bin 1 Shiraz on Monday and they just arrived, faster delivery ever.

I'm pretty sure I've had it before and have found it to be quite pleasant. I won't get a chance to sample this lot until the weekend.

Krug 2000 has 10k bonus points and Taittinger CDC 2006 has 7.5k bonus! I'd say both are very favourable..

Had my first bottle of the Aria 2014 Shiraz last night. From Hawkes Bay in NZ. Very pleased. The wine is a deep purple colour. The promised fruit was there, plus the spice of a good Shiraz. No tannin; had a soft mouth feel.

Very nice. My wife, not normally a big wine drinker, went for a second refill. Definitely be seeing a bit more of this.

tried a few of their wines last month while in Napier...all were delightful

They've definitely lifted their game on delivery times. 2 days for me for a carton of white.

I go on the site and its sold out and has been since Skyring posted assuming we are talking the Aria shiraz. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.
I "walked back the dog" and it was the Bests Bin 1 mentioned. The Arias only come with 7 000 points not the full 10 000.

Had another bottle on Sunday; it was just as nice.

The red must have been 10K, I got a case of shiraz and one of white which is 7K, and got something like 18.6K points, which would be 10K+7K+3*payment amount. Shiraz sold out now though.

I don't seem to have got my Thursday email yet to see what haul of FF point are available...or an email extending my membership...

Same here. Is it too early to read something into that?

I have only bought several lots this year, so nothing like QF WP.
