I just called Amex about this. Purchases on the Qantas Ultimate Amex card SHOULD earn triple points with Epiqure. Worth checking if you have used the same card and only received double.
 
QANTAS has come under attack over a “tacky and disrespectful” marketing campaign in which wine specials were spruiked to “celebrate Anzac Day”.
A Qantas epiQure mailout invited recipients to “celebrate Anzac Day” with a discount on a bottle of Taittinger Brut.
The promotion has since been replaced with a special deal to “celebrate autumn”.
Backlash on Twitter saw the airline labelled “tacky” and “no longer Australian”.

ANZAC is a 'protected' word when it comes to commercial activities: ANZAC, needing the authority of the Minister for Veterans' Affairs for its use. Qantas may or may not have sought that permission but nevertheless the complaints were justified and the withdrawal correct.
 
It was a really really poorly timed and worded email. Not even a line in there offering any thanks or respect about history & significance of the day... just straight to the point, give us your $ type of stuff. All too typical of QF.

I agree and haven't they got pasted for it. I did pick up a dozen of red for the bonus points

Ok...well looks like left hand at Amex doesnt know what the right one is doing. Now been told Epiqure does NOT qualify for triple points. Sorry for the misinformation.

Got a Dan Murphy's email and this really lit my wick being a lover of Penfolds (particularly St Henri, which is the majority of my collection):

Only problem is you might need a few more cases, but look at all the QFF points you will earn.

Great reviews on the St Henry 2010, price looks ok and bonus points on offer. I couldn't think about any reason why I shouldn't order a case of 6 :)
 
I need to use my newly established Dad's account for a dozen Giesen Sauvignon Blanc for SWMBO before that offer ends. And then a bottle of the good Penfold stuff for the fridge collection!

I'd like to take advantage of a couple more for the bonus points but I will wait and see what comes along later in the year. The house is bulging after Anzac weekend in The Hunter. :)
