Qantas Wine latest offering

Interesting that they aren't serving the whites.

I would have liked to have gone...but you know, QF don't consider Perth to be very important and all.

It seems like you will be having a bit of wine. The Melbourne and Brisbane pages have been updated with the wines that will be offered

Taittinger NV

Penfolds Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Penfolds Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Penfolds Bin 8 Cabernet Shiraz 2011
Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 2012

Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz 2012
Penfolds St Henri Shiraz 2011

Penfolds Grange 2010
Penfolds RWT Shiraz 2012

I'm heading to the Sydney one so should be a good night

Need some help please...I have to buy possibly 48 bottles of red wine for customers at Christmas ...budget up to $30 a bottle, can anyone suggest some good options from the Epiqure site, I dont believe there are any bonus offers at the moment but that you do get 3 points per $ spent. Any suggestions welcome..thanks

I should let Mrs Dmac reply to this one because I don't drink Red.
However, I do all the ordering and can share with you a couple of her favourite drops under $30.00.
Shiraz: Saltram 1859 Barossa 2012
Cab Sav: Punt Road 2012
Xanadu Exmoor Drive 2010.

PM me if they are no good and I will give you her phone number. ;)

Dmac That's great...Thanks for the quick response

Are the recipients likely to prefer big names, or appreciate slightly lesser names if the wine is good?

These would be my pick:

Cape Mentelle Shiraz 2012: https://www.qantasepiqure.com.au/Wine/Red-Wine/Shiraz/Cape-Mentelle-Shiraz-2012/p/CAPEMNSHI12

Or if you can stretch the budget to $32/bottle:

Voyager Estate Shiraz 2011: https://www.qantasepiqure.com.au/Wine/Red-Wine/Shiraz/Voyager-Estate-Shiraz-2011/p/VOYAGESHI11

Or perhaps this if a big name would go down better:

Penfolds Seventy Six Shiraz Cabernet 2012: https://www.qantasepiqure.com.au/Wine/Penfolds-Seventy-Six-Shiraz-Cabernet-2012/p/PEN76SHCA09

I think if the wine is good so tahnk you for your list

This offer to me today:

Australia Post is ramping up for Christmas and has started weekend deliveries again!
Or as is usually the case with me - weekend "leave a card in the letterbox without knocking" again.

Considering I usually use work as my delivery address, and it is a 24hr operation, it is wearing a bit thin.

If only it came with that 27828 as bonus points.

Well, what's $191.88 worth in points? I suppose that's one way to look at it.

But I think $8/bottle for an "everyday" quality white from Wirra Wirra, delivered, is bonus enough. :)

The price for the Seventy Six is well above what Penfolds sell it at. I have purchased at cellar door for around $25.

I took up the offer. Never tried this drop but how bad can it be? Wirra Wirra do produce some nice stuff.

How do your feet fit under your desk, QF WP?

I have a series of desks that form a J in my room. That's my front desk :D. I rarely sit there, have got a bigger back desk. My clients have now got all the good EpiQure wines. A couple of the Wirra Wirra will go to my best clients. Now all I have left is Cellarmaster and Virgin wines - best get drinking
