It's a long flight, I think while the transit restrictions are unknown and relatively complex, Qantas can make point to point routes work that couldn't pre-covid.
I'm not saying it can't be done. But it's not just becuae Qantas is in there, that It means JQ could just take over.If they could do BKK and HNL, surely it wouldn't be too hard to also put them on DEL?
I haven’t been through DEL for a while so I don’t even know what lounges they have there anymore. I can’t recall a lot of options when we were there
Checking on ABC website around 11am and Marshall did an interview from Adelaide airport and Qantas announced it then. Was excited thinking it would be Singapore. But not so.Cripes, Pushka got it from the news first.
Thought I was dreaming, not that I would go and visit India either, but a lot of Indians with Aust citizenship do go back for visits, so on some days, it would suit these travellers.
Just checked the QF website, still routes via SYD - BKK with QF, and then TG from BKK to DEL, on Wednesdays.
