But soon to be supplemented with a 787 tube of torture to LHR.Meanwhile, Perth has for their overseas schedule a once a day 737 tube of torture to Singapore!

I dunno, it's not my favourite but I reckon it won't be as bad as people think.Without wanting to appear ungrateful, from what I've read, 9 abreast in Y for 17 hours PER/LHR is only slightly more bearable compared to 5.5 hours to SIN in a 737..

At least for me, I need the pitch more than the width. If it's got an extra inch or two of legroom and a big IFE screen I'd be pretty happy. Though am committed to VA so you won't find me on QF9/10![]()
Yep, only higher status passengers can select seats further forward this far in advance. Within 80 hours more will open up but of course could already be taken by then.Halfway through booking a 49/50 Biz reward for 17/24 Nov 2018 and both seat maps are showing exactly the same seats open.
Is there a reason so many seats are not available and that they are exactly the same seats on both flights? Is it a status thing? I'm a lowly Bronze

Thanks, suspected as much. Anybody flown in any of the available seats and has a recommendation (1 pax)?Yep, only higher status passengers can select seats further forward this far in advance. Within 80 hours more will open up but of course could already be taken by then.

As a WP, I was able to see and book any row from 1-8. Odd rows have more privacy (seat against window), apparently row 5 has no window.7A or 7K should suffice. Note I haven't flown on the 787, but should be pretty similar to the A330s.
