The older 330's are like the older 747 product where the newer domestic ones are fresher and have a similar IFE to the 380's

Huh... there you go I thought they were the same, thanks :). though i was referring to int config, are they different?

Does not take that long to load 8T of fuel, 330 Pax and filling it with cargo did, which was where Qantas had the increased turns.
There was a problem with the fuel pump rates in the first of the 332's that Qantas received - which were later shunted off to create the initial fleet for JQi.

There is one very good reference somewhere that I am looking for, that IIRC, related to internal piping design and flow rates on these beasts.

Cargo may have been an issue as they could hold more. As far as duel airbridges go, introduction and consistent use domestically is far more recent the the delivery of the first four 332's in 2003/2004 (EBA/EBB/EBC/EBD) so would not be a significant factor.

I would still question the fuel pump issue for the turnaround issues on the golden triangle, as I said there is no difference in time for either the 767 or the early A332s when it comes to pumping the 8T needed, and as also noted, the intro of A330s onto domestic legs were the reason why dual aerobridges were later put into domestic gate positions. Slower load of passengers and cargo were the reasons behind a 45 minute turn versus 20 previously experienced, with new cargo equipment and dual gates this problem has gone away.

Researching has also indicted there may have been lower (max) taxi speeds for the 330 than for the 767's contributing as well.
