I did read on their website that Qantas do price match but I need to make a booking first and send them the other rates for them to possibly match. If successful, they'll refund the difference plus offer a bonus 1000 FF points.
Some people are quite good with best rate/price promise guarantees.
The few times I tried they weasel out of the best rate using the fine print. I just book where I see the best net value not potential value.
*bump*
Will be travelling to Perth in November and looking at staying at Hyatt Regency. Booking direct with hotel or via Expedia, price for 3 nights is approx $550. Booking via Qantas is an extra $100ish but bonus FF points of 4110.

Has anyone successfully claimed a price match with Qantas?
